Gorgeous 1-Piece Vermont Artillery Militia Coat Button by Robinson VT6

This is a beautiful original coat size uniform button for the Vermont Militia. This is the version listed as VT6 in Albert’s Button book and VT210a1 in Tice’s button book. The face has a wonderful look with a fine amount of the original gold gilding intact. It has a wonderful color. It shows the spread wing eagle with the cannon down below and has "Vt. MILITIA ARTILLERY" around the edge. This one has a perfect shank intact on the back and a clear backmark of "R&W Robinson/Attleborough/.*.*.*.Extra*.*.*.Rich."
